In addition to our standard Spanish language programs
we also offer a variety of other interesting Spanish language
programs. The following are some of the more interesting options.

Learn
Spanish and Dive
Playa
del Carmen offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in
the world. As such we have arranged a course for those who
want to both learn Spanish and learn how to scuba dive. You
will participate in our standard group spanish course while
at the same time take some diving courses. We will provide
you with the necessary equipment to participate in the scuba
portion of your program. We do not provide diving insurance,
but you must purchase it on arrival. Here are your diving
options.
PADI
Open Water
The
Padi Open Water Brevet lets you learn the basics of diving.
You will listen to a short theoretical course and that participate
in a practical course in the pool. Following that you will
head out on the ocean for your first diving experience. Accompanied
by a qualified instructor you will learn step by step learn
to dive and explore the incredible beauty the underwater world.
PADI
Advanced Open Water
PADI
Advanced Open Water builds up on the PADI Open Water course.
Here you will be able to improve your already acquired diving
skills and experience such special diving types as night diving,
wreck diving and deep diving.
7-Day
Diving Package with 14 Dives
The
package comprises 14 dives during 7 days in Playa del Carmen
(3 days), Cozumel (2 days) and in Cenotes (2 days). You can
discuss the dives and the exact dates with our diving school
locally (you can choose whether you wish to dive on work days
or during the weekend).
Family
Programs
Academia
Columbus has an excellent Spanish program for families who
travel together and who all want to learn Spanish. This Spanish
programs is set up for families of 2 or more students. This
can include Mom and/or Dad and one or more children. Children
must be at least 7 years and older to participate in Spanish
Classes. Families can now start courses on any given Monday
as long as it is not on a holiday.
