Overview
The Academia Columbus Spanish language school is located in the center of Playa del Carmen, and is walking distance to the beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clears waters of the Caribbean. With air conditioned and modern classrooms, a relaxing terrace, we feel that our building offers the perfect atmosphere in which to study and learn Spanish.

Our Spanish language courses are offered throughout the year and start EVERY Monday. Our student body consists of a very international mix of North Americans and Europeans. We accept students of all levels of Spanish language proficiency. Each lesson we offer is 50 minutes in length.

We offer group classes with no more than 5 students per class, private instruction, and a combination of private and group instruction. Additionally we offer some specialized Spanish language programs as well.

The Daily Timetable

09 am - 10:40 am classes

2 pm - 2:50 pm classes (only for 30 lessons course)

Note: No classes take place on official Mexican holidays.

Starting Dates
You can start your Spanish language course on any Monday of the year.

Spanish Language Instructors
All our Spanish language instructors are native speakers and have a university degree as well as extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. We provide ongoing training to help ensure that our teaching staff maintain a high standard of teaching proficiency.

Educational Materials
Our educational materials are up-to-date and mostly come from Spanish universities or the Instituto Cervantes. They are specially developed to enable fast and effective learning of Spanish as a foreign language. In order to guarantee you top quality, we use a wide variety of materials. The educational materials are made available to you free of charge for the duration of your course. All of our students receive a certificate of successful completion at the end of their courses.
