 Overview
When you come to study and learn Spanish with Academia Columbus in Quito, Ecuador, we will also provide accommodations for you. The following is an overview of your
various options.
Host Family Option
This is the option that the vast majority of students choose when the come to Quito to study and learn Spanish out our Spanish language school. The host families tend to be located within a 10 minute radius of the school (walking). Spanish students will receive their own room and can opt for either 2 or 3 meals per day. Living with a local Ecuadorian host family provides you with an opportunity to use the Spanish you learn in class and to learn about the local culture.
If
you are traveling with a friend or partner we can arrange
for the two of you to stay together with the same host family.
Host families can also accommodate certain dietary requirements
such as vegetarians may have etc.
Hostel
Academia Columbus works with a hostel in the center of Quito. The rooms tend to be simple, but are clean and comfortable. In the immediate area around the hostel you will find bars, restaurants, shops, etc. The Spanish school itself is located only 20 minutes away by bus or taxi from the hostel.
Hotel
Option
Academia Columbus also works with a clean and contemporary hotel located in Quito's modern quarter. Each room has its own bathroom and includes a telephone and cable TV. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking from the Spanish language school
Other
Accommodations
We are happy to arrange other accommodations for you in your
preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your course
without accommodations provided by us.
